The Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, or B.Sc. Agriculture program is an 8-semester course offered by the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science, Tribhuvan University (IAAS/TU) and Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU). The program spans four years and aims to produce skilled personnel in the field of agriculture. Specifically, the program focuses on developing technical expertise in education, research, and the handling and use of modern agricultural equipment and technologies. The ultimate goal of the program is to contribute to the growth and progress of the agricultural industry by providing qualified professionals who can advance the field through innovation, research, and development.

The minimum qualification to be eligible for the Entrance Exam:
- To be eligible for admission, students are required to have passed the SLC/SEE exam with a minimum of a “C” grade or in the Second Division.
- To be eligible for admission to the B.Sc.Ag. program, students must have obtained a “C” grade in each subject and a C+ (2.4 GPA) in aggregate in I.Sc.(Science), 10+2 (Science), 10+2 (Plant Science/Animal Science/Forest Science), I.Sc.Ag., I.Sc.Vet., or I.Sc.Forestry.
- To be eligible, applicants must have studied 100 full marks in English, Chemistry, and Biology, and at least 50 full marks in both Physics and Mathematics.
