Veterinary science is the study and practice of medical care for animals, including the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illnesses and diseases. Veterinary science shares fundamental principles with medical science, while animal husbandry focuses on the study of the breeding, nurturing, and maintenance of domesticated animals on farms. Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & A.H.) is a program run by Agriculture & Forestry University(AFU) & Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science, Tribhuvan University (IAAS/TU). The B.V.Sc. & A.H. is a 5-year program spreading over 10 semesters.

The minimum qualification to be eligible for the Entrance Exam:
1. To be eligible for admission, students must have passed the SLC/SEE exam with a minimum of a āC+ā grade or in the Second Division.
2. To be eligible for admission to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. program, students must have obtained a āCā grade in each subject and a C+ (2.4 GPA) in aggregate in I.Sc.(Science), 10+2 (Science), 10+2 (Plant Science/Animal Science), I.Sc.Ag., I.Sc.Vet.
3. To be eligible, applicants must have studied 100 full marks in English, Chemistry, and Biology, and at least 50 full marks in both Physics and Mathematics.
