I.Sc. Vet (Intermediate in Science in Veterinary Science) is a two-year program offered in Nepal for students interested in pursuing a career in veterinary science. The program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the basic sciences such as physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics, as well as specific courses in veterinary science.
The I.Sc. Vet program in Nepal covers a range of topics such as animal nutrition, anatomy and physiology, genetics and breeding, microbiology, parasitology, and pathology. Upon completion of the program, you will have a good understanding of the principles of veterinary science and will be well-prepared to pursue further studies in the field.
After completing I.Sc. Vet, you can pursue a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & AH) degree offered by IAAS, or other universities in Nepal or abroad. There are also various job opportunities available in the field of veterinary science, including working with livestock and domestic animals, wildlife conservation, research, and public health.
