B.Pharma or Bachelor of Pharmacy is an undergraduate degree program in Nepal that focuses on the study of pharmacy and related subjects. B.Pharma program in Nepal is designed to impart knowledge about the formulation and development of drugs, their distribution and sale, and the use of medicines for treating various diseases.

The duration of the B.Pharma program in Nepal is four years, which is divided into eight semesters. During this course, students learn about various aspects of pharmacy, including drug formulations, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, and pharmacy practice.

After completing a B.Pharma degree in Nepal, students can pursue higher education in pharmacy or related fields like M.Pharma, MBA in Pharmaceutical Management, or PhD in Pharmacy. They can also work in the pharmaceutical industry, government agencies, hospitals, research labs, and academic institutions. 

The scope of B.Pharma study in Nepal is increasing due to the growing demand for healthcare services and medicines. With the increasing prevalence of diseases and health conditions, the demand for qualified pharmacists is also increasing, which makes it a promising career option in Nepal.

A. Eligibility 

a. Passed 10+2 Science or equivalent (with Physics, Chemistry and Biology) with 50% aggregate in total marks or GPA 2.4 OR secured the percentage equivalent to above eligibility in regards to the certificate level programs (eg. A-Level) with different grading system OR 

b. Applicants who have passed the Health Science Proficiency Certificate/Diploma (General Medicine, Medical Lab Technology, Ophthalmic Science, Dental Science, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Radiography, Physiotherapy) with at least 50% aggregate in total marks. AND 

c. Registered in Nepal Health Professional Council or Nepal Pharmacy Council or Nepal Ayurveda Council as per related educational program.

a. Question type: Single best response type of multiple-choice questions 

b. Option: Four options (A, B, C, D) 

c. Number of questions: 200 

d. Full marks: 200 

e. Cognitive ratio: Recall: Understanding: Application – 30:50:20
