BPH (Bachelor of Public Health) - Care Education Pvt. Ltd.

In Nepal, students can pursue a Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) degree program offered by different university like Tribhuvan University,Pokhara University, Purbanchal Univeristy etc. The BPH program is designed to train specialists in healthcare within the country, and it is a four-year program that includes yearly examinations at the end of each academic year.
The program’s main objective is to produce graduates who can provide leadership to the community and middle-level health workers. The curriculum includes courses on public health principles, epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, health promotion, health policy, and management.
There is a growing awareness and concern for health issues in Nepal, with people becoming more proactive about preventative and protective healthcare rather than just relying on treatment after becoming ill. Graduates of the BPH program have an important role to play in motivating their communities towards practical and cost-effective approaches to healthcare.


A. Eligibility
a. Passed 10+2 Science or equivalent (with Physics, Chemistry and Biology) with 50% aggregate in total marks or GPA 2.4
OR
Secured the Percentage equivalent to above eligibility in regards to the certificate level programs (A-Level) with different grading system OR
b. Applicants who have passed the Health Science Proficiency Certificate/Diploma (General Medicine, Medical Lab Technology, Ophthalmic Science, Dental Science, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Nursing, Radiography, Physiotherapy) with at least 50% aggregate in total marks. AND
c. Registered in Nepal Health Professional Council or Nepal Pharmacy Council, Nepal Nursing Council or Nepal Ayurveda Council as per related educational program.
B. Examination Format
a. Question type: Single best response type of multiple-choice questions
b. Option: Four options (A, B, C, D)
c. Number of questions: 200
d. Full marks: 200
e. Cognitive ratio: Recall: Understanding: Application – 30:50:20
f. Duration: 3 hours
