The B.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics is a new and innovative program in Nepal that falls under the umbrella of food and technology education. The main goal of the program is to train professionals who can tackle the issue of malnutrition in Nepal. This four-year program consists of eight semesters and requires 127 credit hours to complete. It is currently offered only at the Central Campus of Technology, Dharan, under Tribhuvan University (TU). To be eligible for admission, students must have passed their +2 Science exam with at least a grade of āCā. Upon graduation, students can pursue a variety of careers in both governmental and non-governmental organizations such as Nutritionists, Nutritional Therapists, Food Technologists, Health Promotion Specialists, Research and Development Managers, and other related roles.
